What does an Anaesthetist do in ICU?

The anesthesiologist in the ICU works together with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care for patients that have serious or life-threatening conditions. An ICU anesthesiologist will be responsible for providing a comprehensive evaluation of each patient, from determining the safety of anesthesia to coordinating ventilator management and medications.
