 What is anesthesia and Critical Care technician? Anesthesia and Critical Care Technicians are medical professionals who provide support to anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, and other healthcare personnel in providing anesthesia services. They help monitor a patient’s vital signs before, during and after surgery. Anesthesia technicians also sterilize equipment for re-use and prepare medications for delivery to the patient. In addition, they may assist with preparation of the operating room environment or provide post-operative care such as wound dressing changes. Additionally, they may be called upon to perform administrative duties such as inventory control or ordering supplies.  What is the qualification for anesthesia technician?
