Audio and Speech Therapy Eligibility, Fees, Course
The Audio and Speech Therapy Technology course is a two-year, full-time paramedical program that is designed to train individuals in the areas of hearing, language, and speech. The course is practical in nature and aims to produce Speech and Hearing Technicians who are able to perform routine clinical assessments and provide therapeutic management for various speech, language, and hearing disorders at the village, block, taluka, and town levels. To be eligible for the course, candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent studies with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Upon completion of the course, individuals may pursue careers as Assistant Audio and Speech Therapy Technicians, Audiologists, Audiologist Technicians, or Audio and Speech Therapy Technicians.
